Preventive Medical Services

Each year your PFHP physician will perform a comprehensive evaluation including a complete physical exam, routine blood tests* and an electrocardiogram, at no cost to you or your insurance carrier. When appropriate, more sophisticated, state-of-the-art diagnostic studies, focusing on preventive medicine may be recommended to complete your annual exam. While these additional studies are optional and not covered by your membership fee, they will enhance the overall value of your preventive annual examination.

You will be scheduled for a follow-up visit to discuss your results and recommendations. All appropriate screening tests are tabulated, and kept on file.

*Routine blood tests include fasting glucose, lipid profile, kidney function, liver function tests, red blood cell count, white blood cell count, platelet count, urinalysis, thyroid test, PSA, and electrolytes exclusively.
